I own a Hermes Apple Ultra (49mm) strap and I love how well it works. However, the butterfly strap only comes in orange, so the Bluevolt intrigued me. When I opened the package, I was immediately disappointed. There was no installation instructions (mentioned by a few reviews). The base of the strap was WAY too small for the 49mm Ultra, leaving gaps on both sides of the watch. After figuring out how to work with the butterfly clasp, I realised it was different from other butterfly straps: it doesn’t have a clip that holds the strap down against the pin that holds the circumference of the strap. I’ll be more than happy to change my review if BlueBolt sends me some instructions to show that I’ve done it wrong. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money

I found the band a little to complicated and once engaged was uncomfortable on the underside of the wrist even when the rubber “loop” was wrapper over the butterfly buckle.
It was however sturdy and secure. After 2 weeks I switched to the alternate “regular buckle” that came with the band. I preferred the alternate buckle.
